BlockBeats news: On June 24, the scale of U.S. leveraged ETFs is growing at a record pace, with investor leverage usage also at record highs. The assets under management of TQQQ, the 3x leveraged ETF tracking the Nasdaq-100 Index, have risen to approximately $40 billion, nearing its historical peak. Meanwhile, the assets under management of SOXL, the 3x leveraged ETF tracking the semiconductor sector, have reached a new all-time high of $34 billion. Since April, SOXL’s assets have more than tripled, while TQQQ’s assets have nearly doubled. In comparison, QLD, the 2x leveraged ETF tracking the Nasdaq-100 Index, increased by $7 billion during the same period, up 88%, reaching a historical high of nearly $15 billion.
Driven by this, the total assets under management of U.S. leveraged ETFs have reached a record high of $198 billion, a 55% increase over the same period.
