In accordance with BitcoinWorld, South Korea’s leading exchange Upbit has announced a temporary suspension of deposits and withdrawals for POL and GMT tokens on the Polygon network. The suspension, effective from 9:00 a.m. UTC on December 9, is a precautionary measure ahead of a hard fork to upgrade the Polygon blockchain. During this period, users will be unable to deposit or withdraw these tokens, though trading may continue. Upbit stated the move aims to prevent transaction errors and ensure user fund security during the network transition.
