Uniswap Proposes to Burn 100 Million UNI Tokens in Governance Vote

Uniswap has put a governance vote to burn 100 million UNI tokens. The vote started on December 20 at 11:30 AM Beijing time and ends on December 25. After a 2-day lock period, the tokens will be burned. The proposal also activates a fee switch mechanism on Ethereum mainnet for v2 and v3. It includes the destruction of UNI and Unichain fees. Uniswap founder Hayden Adams submitted the UNIfication proposal.
