The UK’s FCA has released a 700-page crypto regulation consultation, targeting exchanges, staking, and lending. The rules aim to bring these services under the financial framework by 2027. The consultation, open until February 12, 2026, includes tailored rules for staking and exchanges. Perry Scott of Kraken called the proposals “world leading.” The FCA says the move will protect users and support innovation in the crypto sector.
