Odaily Planet Daily report: According to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, the UAE sovereign wealth fund Mubadala Investment Company has recently significantly rebalanced its U.S. equity portfolio, focusing on artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and technology stocks.
The filing shows that Mubadala has fully exited its holdings in Apple (AAPL), as well as its positions in Salesforce (CRM) and Broadcom (AVGO).
Regarding AI-related assets, Mubadala still holds 65,326 shares of NVIDIA (NVDA) and significantly increased its position in Palantir Technologies (PLTR) Class A shares by 40.4% to 95,656 shares.
In the semiconductor sector, Mubadala slightly increased its stake in Micron Technology (MU), raising its holdings by 3.0% to 45,451 shares, while reducing its long-held position in GlobalFoundries, decreasing its holdings by 5.5% to 399.6 million shares.
This adjustment shows that Mubadala is reducing its exposure to certain large-cap traditional tech stocks and leading chipmakers, while continuing to bet on areas benefiting from the AI wave, such as AI infrastructure, data analytics software, and memory chips.
