UAE’s ADNOC to Accept AE Coin at 980 Fuel Stations

ADNOC Distribution, the UAE’s largest fuel retailer, has partnered with Al Maryah Community Bank to accept AE Coin at 980 fuel stations and convenience stores. The stablecoin, backed by the UAE Central Bank, is processed via AMCB’s AEC Wallet. The move supports digital asset regulation and Countering the Financing of Terrorism efforts. It aligns with the UAE’s broader strategy to expand blockchain-based payments and strengthen secure financial systems.
