Following this announcement, Avalanche native token AVAX jumped over 3%.

Avalanche Joins UAE PASS Digital Vault

The UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) has partnered with consultancy firm Deca4 and Ava Labs to add Avalanche technology to UAE PASS. The announcement was made on September 14, 2026, but the new system is not live yet.

Once launched, Avalanche technology will power UAE PASS’s Digital Vault, allowing users to securely store, request, and share verified government documents.

UAE PASS is used by more than 12.5 million citizens, residents and visitors and provides access to over 15,000 services across more than 350 government and private sector entities.

As the integration is designed to make document verification easier while reducing the need for manual checks.

UAE Will Use a Dedicated Avalanche L1

The UAE is not simply using Avalanche’s shared blockchain. Instead, the project will run on a dedicated Avalanche L1 to make UAE PASS document checks faster and safer. This gives the government greater control over network access and configuration.

When a user shares a document, such as a trade license or academic certificate, the blockchain can verify whether it is genuine or not.

Avalanche called it “one of the largest real-world, nation-state use cases for public blockchain infrastructure to date.”

The UAE’s move comes as other governments are also turning to Avalanche for digital services. For example, the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) digitized 42 million vehicle titles through a custom Avalanche L1 to make title transfers faster and easier.

AVAX Price Jumps 3% Today

The AVAX token price jumped more than 3% to around $7.48, while trading volume increased roughly 14% to $249 million.

AVAX trading close to the $7.50 resistance level. A break above that area could open the way toward $7.65, while $7.37 remains an important support level.
