Semiconductor stocks mostly declined: Arm (ARM) fell 8.70%, Qualcomm (QCOM) dropped 7.17%, Intel (INTC) slid 5.67%, Marvell Technology (MRVL) fell 3.83%, and AMD declined 3.61%, while NVIDIA (NVDA) rose 1.68%. The storage sector saw mostly losses: SK Hynix (SKHY) dropped 5.03%, SanDisk (SNDK) fell 3.65%, Micron Technology (MU) declined 2.62%, and Western Digital (WDC) slipped 0.78%. All light communication stocks retreated: Credo (CRDO) fell 8.67%, Coherent (COHR) dropped 4.52%, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) declined 4.52%, Marvell Technology (MRVL) fell 3.83%, and Astera Labs (ALAB) dropped 3.65%.
