On December 21, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis confirmed she will not run for re-election. A leading voice for crypto in Congress, she has earned praise from project partners and industry leaders. Collin McCune of a16z highlighted her role in crypto growth, while David Sacks called her a key ally. Multicoin Capital partners and Natalie Brunell also thanked her for legislative efforts. Lummis’s term ends in January 2027.
