U.S. financial markets are moving toward an on-chain future, with the SEC backing tokenized securities for faster, transparent trading. SEC Chair Paul Atkins pushed innovation, while the Division of Trading and Markets gave the DTC a no-action letter for its tokenization pilot. The program enables direct wallet transfers of tokenized assets, improving recordkeeping and on-chain analysis. The House Financial Services Committee also urged the SEC to allow Bitcoin in 401(k)s, following Trump’s 2025 executive order on alternative assets.
