In accordance with Chainthink, on December 10, the U.S. Department of War launched a new platform, GenAI.mil, in collaboration with Google, introducing Gemini for Government to the U.S. military. Google's IL5 model has become the first generative AI deployed to the U.S. Army. With the official launch of GenAI.mil and Gemini for Government, the Pentagon is expanding AI technology across the military, providing secure, IL5-level generative tools for 3 million non-classified military personnel.
