KuCoinFlashShare
U.S. autonomous ground vehicles are being deployed in Ukraine, with Forterra sending over 100 Lancer units to the battlefield in the past nine months. These gasoline-powered machines, based on Polaris platforms, carry 750 kg of cargo and rely on Starlink for remote operation. They have completed 1,100 missions, traveled 2,500 miles, and transported 777,440 pounds of supplies, including 52 medical evacuations. The vehicles are currently operated remotely, as their systems cannot yet detect or respond to threats in real time. Forterra, backed by over $500 million, is leveraging generative AI to enhance autonomy. This represents a significant development in crypto news, as on-chain updates continue to highlight technology’s growing role in modern warfare.
