BlockBeats report: On July 18, on-chain data showed that the attacker in the TrustedVolumes crypto market-making incident has returned 1,122 ETH, worth over $2 million.
It is reported that the attack initially resulted in the theft of over $5.8 million in assets. The attacker has since returned approximately $2 million in assets and retained about $2 million as a "bug bounty."
BlockBeats previously reported that on May 7, according to PeckShield monitoring, TrustedVolumes was attacked, resulting in the loss of approximately $5.9 million in assets, including about $3.02 million in ETH, $1.37 million in WBTC, and $1.47 million in stablecoins. The attacker has converted the stolen funds into approximately 2,513 ETH.
