After imposing unjustified fines of $15 billion on Apple, $3 billion on Meta, $2.5 billion on Amazon, and penalties on many other firms, we’ve just learned that Google—a truly advanced and remarkable company—has been fined another $1 billion with no explanation whatsoever. This brings Google’s total fines to over $18 billion!
This illegal and highly discriminatory practice reached such heights during the first year of the “Sleepy Joe” (Biden) administration, but it will not continue under a Trump administration. The United States is not Europe’s “ATM,” and we will not allow it to become one!
I hereby announce that we will immediately initiate a Section 301 investigation into this behavior, which plundered American businesses and harmed American taxpayers. The European Union will pay a very high price for this illegal and deeply unethical conduct—the very behavior I have long warned them against.
