ChainThink reports that, on July 16, Axios reported that Trump Media & Technology Group will launch the Truth API, allowing financial services companies to pay for real-time data from Truth Social, with a planned launch date of August 1.
The Truth API will initially provide real-time posts from the platform's top 10 most popular accounts, including Trump, the White House, FBI Director Kash Patel, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino, and U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The company may expand the range of accessible accounts in the future based on customer payment levels. Interim CEO Kevin McGurn stated that the company has already secured multiple clients prior to launch, including financial news organizations and high-frequency trading firms, though it has not disclosed specific names.
Trump Media is still discussing licensing Truth Social data to AI companies for training large language models.
The company reported $3.68 million in advertising and subscription revenue last year, with a net loss of $7.12 billion, largely driven by accounting expenses related to cryptocurrency investments.
