While President Donald Trump’s cryptocurrency wallet has been diminishing for years, the latest September 22 disclosure revealed that the commander-in-chief has quietly built up a major indirect Bitcoin (BTC) investment.
Specifically, the billionaire Republican purchased up to $115,000 worth of Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) stock in late July, approximately one month after a strong BTC rally reignited optimism about digital assets and sent Michael Saylor’s company higher.
Indeed, MSTR shares were changing hands at $91.67 on July 24 – at the time of President Trump’s earlier and smaller purchase – and at $98.65 three days later – the time of the second and larger investment.
With Strategy stock closing at $167.33 on September 22 – the most recent regular session – the U.S. commander-in-chief could have seen a $12,380 profit on the first buy and up to $69,619 on the second.

Though the actual number is impossible to know due to the relevant rules requiring the value range to be reported rather than the exact amount, what is known is that President Donald Trump’s investment appreciated 71.30% within just two months.
President Trump set for massive crypto windfall by the end of 2026
Meanwhile, and assuming the billionaire did not sell MSTR stock by press time, he appears poised to see even greater profits before the end of 2026.
Despite some initial anxiety that Congress’ failure to pass the Clarity Act could stifle the digital assets rally, the cryptocurrency rally appears to have only accelerated in the second half of September.
Bitcoin, for example, stood at $62,938 at the start of August, at $78,653 at the start of September, and is, at press time, changing hands at $85,837, for a 36.38% rally in slightly less than two months.

Additionally, the world’s premier cryptocurrency appears poised to continue its strong performance.
As Finbold reported on Wednesday morning, BTC flashed a relatively decisive ‘buy’ signal – Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio crossing above its 365-day moving average (MA) – on September 22, signaling that a drive toward $90,000 and, possibly, $100,000 might be imminent.
