In July of this year, the attacker stole assets from Triple-A’s treasury, with publicly estimated losses of around $11.8 million. After bridging the funds to the Ethereum network and completing token swaps, the attacker dispersed the funds to two intermediate addresses on September 6. The attacker consolidated both fund streams into a single wallet and deposited them in batches into Tornado Cash, including 49 transactions of 100 ETH each and 7 transactions of 10 ETH each, with some funds originating from prior withdrawals from the mixer.
