Trezor data breach affects 67,000 additional U.S. customers

Odaily Planet Daily reports that, according to an official announcement from Trezor, the data breach caused by the logistics provider ShipMonk has expanded in scope, exposing the complete information—including names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, and order numbers—of approximately 67,000 additional U.S. customers who placed orders between November 2019 and August 2021. Trezor stated that it has sent notifications to all affected users; those who did not receive an email are not impacted. The company emphasized that its own systems and devices were not compromised, but urged users to remain vigilant against phishing emails, phone scams, and physical security threats, and confirmed that it is accelerating the rollout of anonymous shipping options to reduce future privacy exposure.
