This year, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and DeepSeek CEO Liang Wenhong, both featured in the “Leaders” category last year, did not make the list. Yang Zhilin of Moonshot AI has been included in the “Innovators” category for the first time. TIME’s Editor-in-Chief Sam Jacobs specifically highlighted him, noting that Moonshot’s models have received “extraordinary attention” over the past year—sometimes surpassing the most advanced U.S. competitors. In the “Leaders” category, OpenAI’s Sam Altman, Mark Chen, and Greg Brockman are jointly recognized, alongside Anthropic’s Dario and Daniela Amodei. On the Chinese side, representatives from ByteDance, Alibaba, Huawei, SMIC, Moonshot AI, Zhipu AI, Manus, Agi Robotics, and BYD have all been named.
