Tether Invests €70M in Generative Bionics to Support Humanoid Robot Development

Based on 528btc, Tether has invested €70 million in Generative Bionics, a leading European robotics spin-off, to accelerate the development and industrial deployment of intelligent humanoid robots. The funding will support the creation of physical AI systems, construction of dedicated production facilities, and integration of edge AI technology in logistics, healthcare, and manufacturing. Generative Bionics, a spin-off of the Italian Institute of Technology, has over 20 years of robotics R&D, including 60 humanoid prototypes and a team of 70 engineers and AI scientists. The company's first robot is set to debut at CES 2026 in Las Vegas.
