As reported by Jinse, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated on X that based on the third-quarter attestation report, Tether holds billions in excess reserves, with total assets reaching approximately $215 billion and stablecoin liabilities at around $184.5 billion. He also claimed that S&P failed to account for the roughly $50 million in monthly profits generated by Tether's U.S. Treasury holdings, suggesting the oversight may be intentional to support Tether's competitors.
