IT Home, October 23 news: Today (October 23), source @SawyerMerritt posted a tweet on X, revealing that Tesla's U.S. website has launched three merchandise items, including two backpacks and one umbrella, with a starting price of $80 (IT Home note: approximately RMB 535.1 at current exchange rates).
Among the products being listed, the most noteworthy is the Performance Umbrella, priced at $95 on the U.S. website (approximately RMB 635.4 at current exchange rates). It features a 48-inch black canopy adorned with the Tesla logo and a gradient lining inspired by the Model 3 Performance badge.

IT Home queried Tesla China's official website and found a similar umbrella product, but it is a folding umbrella priced at 119 yuan, with the official description as follows:
This product features a double-sided, three-fold umbrella paired with a collapsible, portable umbrella case. The umbrella uses a double-sided printing process, with a high-density black-coated fabric and a dot-matrix structure design. The interior is printed with Tesla’s iconic Ludicrous pattern, and its compact three-fold structure makes it easy to store and carry. The case can be folded down to the size of the umbrella for compact storage, or unfolded and used as a crossbody bag. Designed to meet the varied demands of urban commuting and outdoor activities, it’s a reliable choice for your daily travels.
Regarding the backpack, the Tesla Essential Backpack is priced at $120 and serves as the flagship model among the two options, with a 12L capacity. The official page highlights its streamlined front panel, shoulder straps contoured to fit the body, padded back panel, and hidden top pocket, emphasizing comfort for daily commuting and all-day wear. Positioned as a lightweight backpack, it is designed for carrying a laptop, everyday essentials, and short-trip gear.
The Tesla Mini Essential backpack is priced at $80, $40 cheaper than the large version. Officially described as practical in layout and compact in design, it is suitable for both children and adults. Its key feature is “small but spacious”—ideal for storing items like a phone, wallet, water bottle, tablet, or children’s essentials. Compared to the Essential model, it is better suited for light outings, shopping, picking up kids, or as a secondary bag.
