The court-appointed Terraform wind-down administrator has filed a $4 billion lawsuit against Jump Trading, alleging the firm profited during the Terra ecosystem collapse. Named in the suit are Jump co-founder William DiSomma and former crypto head Kanav Kariya. The case comes as global efforts to counter the financing of terrorism tighten oversight on crypto activities. Terraform, created by Do Kwon, collapsed in May 2022, wiping out $40 billion in value. Amid market uncertainty, BTC as hedge against inflation continues to draw attention from institutional and retail investors.
