ChainThink reports that on July 30, Tencent WorkBuddy launched its "Human-AI Co-Editing" feature, allowing users to directly open Word, Excel, PPT, and Markdown files, select specific text, cells, or pages, and have AI make edits in place.
This feature processes only the user-specified area, while keeping all other content and layout as unchanged as possible; users can review the changes, continue editing manually, or undo the results.
Specifically, Word supports continuation, polishing, and formatting; Excel supports data analysis and chart generation; PPT supports slide splitting, layout adjustments, and generating speaker notes. Similar collaborative editing capabilities were previously introduced in OpenAI Codex.
