Huo Xing Cai Jing reports that Tempo, a Layer 1 blockchain co-developed by Stripe and Paradigm, has launched a privacy feature called Zones—a permissioned parallel blockchain solution designed for enterprise use cases requiring higher confidentiality, such as payroll, fund management, and payment settlement. Zones operate as parallel blockchains connected to the Tempo mainnet, providing private execution environments where internal transactions remain confidential, while assets and funds remain fully interoperable with Tempo L1, other Zones, deposit channels, and liquidity pools. Each Zone is managed by trusted entities such as financial institutions or infrastructure providers; operators can view all activities within their environment and enforce access controls, but do not control the underlying assets.

Tempo, a Layer 1 blockchain co-developed by Stripe and Paradigm, has launched Zones—a privacy solution for permissioned parallel blockchain operations. Zones provide a private execution environment for enterprise use cases such as payroll and fund management, while remaining fully interoperable with Tempo L1 and other Zones. Trusted entities, such as financial institutions, manage each Zone, controlling access without owning the underlying assets. This blockchain upgrade introduces a new layer of privacy and flexibility for enterprise blockchain applications.
