According to DL News, Tempo, a Stripe-backed layer 1 blockchain, launched its public testnet on Tuesday, marking a major step toward its planned 2026 launch. The company, supported by Stripe and Paradigm, aims to provide low-fee payment transactions and a decentralized exchange optimized for stablecoins. Tempo has secured design partners including UBS, Mastercard, and Kalshi, among others.
