As reported by TechFlow, on December 3, Swiss fintech company Mt Pelerin announced the launch of a personal cryptocurrency IBAN service. The service allows users to convert self-custody wallets into universal accounts, enabling seamless fund transfers between blockchain and traditional banking networks. Users can create personal euro or Swiss franc IBANs linked to crypto wallets, receive bank transfers converted directly into crypto, and send bank transfers using wallet-held crypto. These payments appear as standard bank transfers, with crypto settlement handled seamlessly in the background. The service is available globally (excluding certain countries), offers free IBANs, and provides free fiat-to-ZCHF stablecoin conversions, with other crypto conversions charged at standard rates. It supports over 30 cryptocurrencies across 15 blockchains.
