Odaily Planet Daily reports that SUPERFORTUNE AI posted on X that the team is investigating the GUA security incident that occurred on May 27. The incident caused significant price volatility, and preliminary investigations suggest it may have involved address manipulation in a multisig transaction.
The announcement stated that the additional unlocked tokens were originally intended to be sent to the airdrop claim contract address, but during transaction execution, the funds were mistakenly sent to another hacker address. The team noted that this hacker address had never previously interacted with any SUPERFORTUNE-related addresses, making the possibility of an "address poisoning attack" as the attack vector relatively low.
In addition, SUPERFORTUNE stated that its internal processes already include multi-address verification mechanisms. The team is still actively investigating the incident and will provide the community with updates on further developments.
