Odaily Planet Daily report: On July 29, Sun Yuchen, founder of TRON, delivered a keynote video speech at Malaysia Blockchain Week 2026. He stated that DeFi, TradFi, and AI are accelerating convergence through shared assets, payment channels, and user bases, and that the future of finance will be an integrated system where institutions, open blockchain networks, and AI operate in synergy—with TRON’s infrastructure capabilities serving as a vital foundation for this transformation.
Sun Yuchen noted that TRON's scale and efficiency make it naturally suited for AI agent payment scenarios. Within the ecosystem, B.AI and Bank of AI have already granted AI agents independent identities and autonomous transaction capabilities, with B.AI's user base exceeding 2 million. He also addressed industry concerns regarding compliance by highlighting TRON's achievement in freezing approximately $450 million in illicit assets through T3 FCU, stating that TRON's goal is to build a bridge between humans and AI, as well as between local markets and global liquidity, providing an open infrastructure for the next generation of value flow and inclusive finance.
Malaysia Blockchain Week 2026 will take place on July 29–30 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center and is one of Southeast Asia’s most anticipated Web3 events. This year’s edition brings together global policymakers, industry leaders, developers, and investors to explore the future evolution of blockchain, digital assets, and emerging technologies.
