Strive purchased 4,045 bitcoins at approximately $82,803 each between October 12 and 16, increasing its holdings to 36,818 bitcoins.

Strive priced a $630 million, 15% coupon SATS preferred stock offering on October 15, with settlement expected on October 20.

According to a regulatory filing released on Monday, the Nasdaq-listed company that holds Bitcoin as a treasury asset purchased 4,045 BTC between October 12 and 16.

At an average price of approximately $82,803 per coin, this batch of Bitcoin is valued at around $335 million. After this purchase, Strive’s Bitcoin holdings increased from 32,773 coins a week ago to 36,818 coins. At current prices, the total value of its Bitcoin holdings exceeds $3 billion.

Strive was founded in 2022 as an anti-ESG asset management firm, co-founded by former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. In May 2025, the company added Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset while advancing its merger with a publicly traded company named Asset Entities; later that September, it agreed to acquire medical device manufacturer Semler Scientific in an all-stock transaction. Semler Scientific held approximately 5,000 BTC, valuing the deal at around $1.3 billion.

As the largest corporate Bitcoin holder, Strategy also made purchases last week: buying 267 BTC at approximately $82,900 per coin, totaling about $22.1 million, bringing its total holdings to 848,517 BTC. The company also spent $193.1 million to repurchase its own STRC preferred shares; Strive holds 505,000 of these shares. Meanwhile, Strategy increased its preferred share repurchase program from $2 billion to $3 billion.

On October 15, index provider MSCI finalized a rule targeting "non-operating companies." Companies that fail the "substantial operating assets" screening and subsequent financial tests will be removed from its indices at the close of trading on November 30.

Michael Saylor of Strategy called the proposal discriminatory in a letter in September, and MSCI will announce the final list of affected companies on November 11.

In the digital asset treasury space, Bitmine, led by Tom Lee, increased its ETH holdings by 12,535 ETH, approximately $30 million, bringing its total holdings to 6,041,481 ETH, or 4.9% of the approximately 122.1 million ETH in circulation. Lee stated that purchases will cease once the company’s holding ratio reaches 5%; he also noted that contributing factors include a broad market shift toward risk aversion, investor outflows from risk assets, concerns over AI funding, rising tensions between the U.S. and Iran, uncertainty surrounding the midterm elections, and increasing bond yields.

Preferred shares pay a fixed dividend upon announcement by the board, similar to bond interest, but it is not guaranteed; “perpetual” means there is no maturity date. The dividend here is 15% of the par value of $100, or $15 annually; if purchased at $90, the yield is approximately 16.7%.
