According to its third-quarter earnings report released on Friday, Bitcoin reserve company Strive purchased 15,124 bitcoins (BTC) in October, bringing its cumulative purchases to 35,497 BTC over the first ten months of 2026. This latest acquisition further positions the company near the top of the corporate Bitcoin reserve rankings.
Strive reported that, as of October 30, the company held 43,124 BTC. According to data from BitcoinTreasuries.NET, this makes it the fourth-largest publicly traded company by Bitcoin holdings globally. The company is just 390 BTC behind third-place Twenty One Capital; if neither company increases its holdings further, Strive would need to acquire an additional 877 BTC to surpass Metaplanet, which holds 44,000 BTC and ranks second.
Strive's continued accumulation aligns with remarks made by CEO Matt Cole in a September interview, during which he stated that the company could become the world's second-largest corporate Bitcoin holder by year-end, though he acknowledged this is not his base case.

In addition, Strive raised approximately $609 million in net proceeds in October through the issuance of SATS perpetual preferred shares with an annual dividend rate of 15%. The company has not specified how much of the funds will be used to purchase Bitcoin.
Strive reported a net profit of $509 million for the third quarter, primarily driven by $533.7 million in unrealized gains from Bitcoin.
Strive focuses on banks and DeFi expansion
According to the financial report, Strive is also evaluating opportunities in banking, brokerage, decentralized finance, reinsurance, and tokenization as part of its broader balance sheet utilization strategy. However, the company has not disclosed specific plans or timelines and did not respond to Cointelegraph’s request for further details prior to publication.
