Strive bought another 1,375 Bitcoin between Aug. 31 and Sept. 4. The purchase cost $109 million. The average price was $79,281 per Bitcoin. Strive's total holdings reached 24,531 BTC worth roughly $1.9 billion at current prices. Chief Risk Officer Jeff Walton said holdings rose 5.9% week over week. Holdings increased from 23,156 BTC to 24,531 BTC. Walton said this was Strive's third straight week of gains above 5%. Holdings grew 21.1% over the past three weeks. They increased from 20,245 BTC to 24,531 BTC. CEO Matt Cole said 70% of the capital raised last week came from SATA. SATA is Strive's Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock. SATA pays a fixed dividend that is currently 13% a year. SATA now has $999 million in notional value outstanding. That figure represents the combined face value of shares sold. It does not represent cash held by Strive. Strive is trying to close a gap with Twenty One Capital. Twenty One Capital holds roughly 43,500 BTC. The firm is the second-largest public Bitcoin treasury behind Strategy. Strive's gap with Twenty One Capital is about 19,000 BTC. Closing that gap would require roughly 1,200 BTC a week for the remaining 16 weeks of 2026. Strive has reached that pace only during its most aggressive recent stretches. Bitcoin Treasuries ranks Strive as the world's fifth-largest corporate Bitcoin treasury. Strive went public in September 2025 through a merger with Asset Entities. The company later added roughly 5,048 BTC through its acquisition of Semler Scientific. Strive has funded Bitcoin purchases through common stock and SATA. Strive posted a $265.9 million net loss in the first quarter. The loss was driven almost entirely by a paper loss on its Bitcoin holdings when the price dropped. ASST shares fell 86% from a post-merger high of $130 by mid-May. Strive's cash position increased from $183.5 million to $202.6 million last week after the purchase. Cole has pointed to more than $700 million in outstanding warrants. Those warrants could unlock as much as $1.4 billion for future Bitcoin purchases.
