Stripe has launched a CLI tool called Stripe Projects, enabling developers to build and manage production-grade app stacks locally. The tool supports multi-cloud integration with Vercel, Supabase, Neon, and more. Developers can add services via CLI plugins and upgrade to paid plans using a Shared Payment Token. This on-chain development marks a step forward in developer tools. New token listings may benefit from such streamlined infrastructure. The payment feature is currently in developer preview in the U.S., Europe, the U.K., and Canada.

PANews, March 27: Stripe has announced the launch of Stripe Projects, a command-line tool that enables developers to create and manage production-grade application stacks with hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, and AI components with a single command in their local terminal. Developers can add services such as Vercel, Railway, Supabase, Neon, PlanetScale, Turso, Chroma, PostHog, Clerk, and RunloopAI via Stripe CLI plugins, and securely sync live credentials to local environments, CI systems, or team secret management tools. Stripe Projects also supports upgrading paid plans for third-party services directly within the CLI using Shared Payment Tokens; this payment flow is currently in developer preview in the US, EU, UK, and Canada.
