OpenRouter, founded in 2023, is an AI infrastructure platform that connects users with a variety of large language models, enabling developers to access AI models from companies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google through a unified interface, and select models based on performance, price, and availability.
If the transaction is completed, it will become one of Stripe’s most significant moves in the AI space in recent years.
