Derived from Biji Network, Stellar has partnered with LayerZero to connect its global payment ecosystem with LayerZero’s multichain network. This integration allows Stellar to access liquidity from over 150 blockchains, enhancing its cross-border payment capabilities. Stellar, a decentralized blockchain launched in 2014 by Jed McCaleb and Joyce Kim, aims to enable fast, low-cost international transactions. LayerZero, a leading cross-chain interoperability protocol, supports over 150 blockchains and 500 assets. The collaboration expands Stellar’s real-world impact by combining it with LayerZero’s global infrastructure, improving cross-chain finance and stablecoin liquidity. Stellar’s institutional adoption, including partnerships with MoneyGram and Franklin Templeton, highlights its role in regulated financial systems. The Stellar network now holds over $500 million in tokenized real-world assets, excluding stablecoins, according to its Q3 report.
