Odaily Planet Daily reports that the cross-chain infrastructure platform Squid has integrated Ripple’s stablecoin RLUSD, enabling users to swap in or out of RLUSD in a single transaction across different blockchains and digital assets.
Through this integration, RLUSD will be accessible across more than 100 blockchains and 20,000+ tokens supported by Squid. Users can directly exchange assets such as USDC, USDT, ETH, and XRP for RLUSD without manually bridging chains, wrapping tokens, or executing multiple transactions.
RLUSD is natively issued on the XRP Ledger and Ethereum, and has been extended via Wormhole’s Native Token Transfer standard to Ethereum Layer 2 networks including XRPL EVM Sidechain, Optimism, Base, Ink, and Unichain. Squid’s routing layer sits atop these underlying transfer mechanisms, enabling users to use RLUSD without being restricted by the specific issuance chain.
Squid stated that its intent-based routing system fulfills orders using liquidity provided by market makers on target chains, enabling settlement within seconds and compatibility with multiple cross-chain messaging and issuance standards. In addition to serving end users, developers can integrate RLUSD via Squid’s tools for cross-chain payments, treasury management, user onboarding, and DeFi applications.
