Huo Xing Cai Jing reports that on August 7, according to TradingBeats (formerly Hyperinsight), the first batch of restricted shares of SpaceX entered the lock-up expiration window on Thursday Eastern Time, granting over 911 million shares to employees and certain early investors the right to sell. Despite this, SpaceX’s U.S. shares rose 6.1% on the day, as the anticipated wave of concentrated selling failed to materialize. The SPCX contract on Hyperliquid is currently trading at $114.01, up approximately 3.6% over the past 24 hours, with a trading volume of about $443 million. Open interest stands at approximately $203 million, a 4.9% decline from the $213 million recorded before the August 4 earnings report, but a 12.6% increase compared to the $180 million prior to large whales building positions on the evening of August 2. Large addresses have not collectively exited following the lock-up expiration. Over the past 24 hours, using a threshold of more than $1 million in single-address position changes, seven addresses added or increased their SPCX long positions, totaling approximately $12.585 million; net long additions during this period amounted to about $5.887 million. Among these, the three addresses with the largest new long positions currently hold approximately $2.54 million, $2.53 million, and $2.28 million in SPCX longs, respectively. Five of the seven addresses that increased their positions had no prior SPCX long exposure, indicating continued inflow of new seven-figure capital. Data shows that among addresses holding over $1 million, the long-to-short ratio by count is 2:1, while the ratio by value is 0.89:1, suggesting that the few short positions are significantly larger on average. The current hourly funding rate for SPCX is approximately -0.00059%, nearing neutral levels.
