Odaily Planet Daily reports that Southeast Asian blockchain companies have raised $680 million in equity financing since 2026, more than double the $319 million raised throughout 2025. However, the number of funding rounds has declined from 46 last year to 25, indicating that capital is increasingly concentrated among more mature companies. Notably, Crypto.com’s $400 million Series D round accounts for nearly 60% of this year’s total funding.
In terms of sectors, cryptocurrency financial services led with $498 million in funding, followed by tokenization platforms at $114 million and decentralized application development platforms at $77 million. Regionally, Singapore accounted for 82.5% of the $6.2 billion in total funding raised by the Southeast Asian blockchain industry. (CoinDesk)
