South Korean police are probing a fake won fraud ring targeting crypto market participants. The group used color printers to make 9,188 counterfeit 50,000-won notes, totaling about 459.4 million won. A trader in Anyang City spotted the fake money and reported it. Three suspects were arrested, one in Cambodia. The case adds to concerns in the OTC crypto market. Traders are advised to stay alert, especially when dealing with altcoins to watch.
