Odaily Planet Daily reports: Soneium has announced plans to launch its native ecosystem token, SONEIUM, to transition the platform from a blockchain infrastructure provider to an on-chain entertainment economy, connecting IP holders, creators, developers, fans, and investors. Details of the Token Generation Event (TGE) will be announced later.
In terms of IP tokenization, Soneium plans to launch its official platform, Soneium Portal, to support IP issuance, investment, fan engagement, and revenue distribution, while building an on-chain IP infrastructure to automate intellectual property registration, licensing management, and royalty distribution. Soneium also plans to introduce IP Vault and IP Bond, offering indirect investment channels in entertainment assets such as music copyrights, and bond products backed by the business operations of entertainment companies.
At the same time, Soneium announced that its first IP project will be realized through Moriusa, a popular character IP under Super State Holdings, a Tokyo-based entertainment group. Additionally, Soneium will collaborate with South Korean K-pop IP company DayOneDream to tokenize royalty revenues from concerts featuring renowned artists such as BTOB.
