Based on 528btc, Solana's official account recently referenced two symbolic images from the XRP community, causing reactions among its members. The posts included a castle illustration originally created by XRP community member Bearableguy123 in 2018, which depicts BTC, USD, and XRP as three towers. Solana's version replaced XRP with itself as the tallest tower, suggesting a shift in the 'new order.' Additionally, Solana posted the number '589,' a long-standing symbol in the XRP community linked to Bearableguy's predictions and a viral Simpson's meme. Some XRP community members, like XRPL validator Vet, described the move as 'cultural appropriation.' The posts were released ahead of Solana's Breakpoint conference in Abu Dhabi on December 11–13.
