As reported by PANews, Solana-based perpetual contract DEX Adrena has announced it will enter maintenance mode, ceasing new feature development while maintaining core functionalities such as liquidity pools, staking, and data. The team plans to open-source its code for community-led development. Adrena reported $8 billion in trading volume and $10 million in fee revenue over the past year but cited funding challenges and intense competition as reasons for halting development. The project emphasized that team tokens were never sold and expressed hope for the community to continue its vision.
