Proposed last year by Anza_xyz, the proposal introduces p-tokens—a more computationally efficient token model—that can increase Solana transaction computational efficiency by up to 19 times. Solana Foundation’s Vice President of Technology stated that this upgrade is expected to be deployed on mainnet in April.
