Odaily Planet Daily reports that, according to SlowMist monitoring, a QNT reserve pool was attacked due to a design flaw in EIP-7702 accounts, resulting in the loss of 1,988.5 QNT, valued at approximately 54.93 ETH. The root cause of the attack lies in the fact that the reserve pool’s administrator identity is held by an address that delegated its code to the BatchExecutor contract via EIP-7702. Since BatchExecutor authorized the BatchCall contract—lacking any permission controls—as the caller, and the BatchCall.batch function lacked proper access checks, attackers exploited this arbitrary call vulnerability to withdraw tokens from the pool.
