Semiconductor stocks generally rose: Lam Research (LRCX) increased 1.31%, Intel (INTC) rose 2.63%, Applied Materials (AMAT) gained 1.98%, and Arm (ARM) climbed 0.56%. The memory sector led the gains, with SK Hynix (SKHY) up 6.91%, Micron Technology (MU) up 3.07%, Western Digital (WDC) up 2.5%, SanDisk (SNDK) up 1.85%, and Seagate Technology (STX) up 2.6%. Optical communications stocks also advanced: Astera Labs (ALAB) rose 1.39%, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) gained 4.06%, Coherent (COHR) increased 2.33%, Credo (CRDO) rose 2.52%, and Lumentum (LITE) climbed 3.13%.
