Citing CaptainAltcoin, Sei (SEI) is being positioned as a stronger long-term competitor to Monad (MON) due to its enterprise-grade technology, lower fees, and institutional backing. Sei offers sub-400ms finality, 100 MGas/s capacity, and a Twin-Turbo consensus system, with a TPS of 12,500 compared to Monad’s 10,000. Sei’s network fees are up to three times cheaper. The project also recently introduced 'Sei Giga,' a new architecture with multiple concurrent block proposers, which could redefine blockchain performance and MEV resistance. Sei has attracted institutional interest from firms like BlackRock and Apollo, and a Staked SEI ETF is already on the DTCC pre-launch list.
