Based on Ourcryptotalk, Coinbase Institutional has added Sei Network’s native token (SEI) to its COIN50 Index as part of the Q4 2025 rebalancing. SEI now holds a 0.06% weight in the index, joining tokens like HBAR, VET, and IMX. The index tracks the top 50 most liquid and high-quality assets on Coinbase Exchange and serves as a benchmark for institutional funds and ETFs. SEI’s inclusion follows recent ecosystem growth, including $1B TVL, 4B+ transactions, and integrations with Kalshi and Oxium. Coinbase removed six tokens, including SKL, AKT, and HNT, during the rebalancing.
