The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has given the green light for the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) to offer token launch services for assets held at DTC. The service is expected to go live in the second half of 2026. A no-objection letter was issued, allowing DTCC to proceed with its plans. The move brings clarity on what is asset tokenization in the U.S. market.
