Based on Coinrise, SBI Digital Markets has partnered with Chainlink to use its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) as its main blockchain infrastructure. This collaboration aims to improve the connection between traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi) by enabling secure and seamless token transfers. SBI, part of Japan’s SBI Group, is increasingly relying on blockchain technology as part of its digital finance strategy. In a separate development, UBS also used Chainlink’s Digital Transfer Agent (DTA) standard to tokenize a fund in partnership with DigiFT. Chainlink’s growing influence is further highlighted by its partnership with S&P Global to bring Stablecoin Stability Assessments onchain and its collaboration with Stellar to support DeFi and real-world asset innovation.
