Caroline Ellison, ex-CEO of Alameda Research, was moved to community supervision on October 16 after 11 months in federal prison. She is now under home confinement or in a halfway house. Ellison received a two-year sentence for her role in the SBF fraud case and testified against him. The Federal Bureau of Prisons will not disclose her location for privacy and security reasons. She is scheduled for full release on February 20, 2026. As EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation continues to shape global compliance, liquidity and crypto markets remain under close regulatory scrutiny.
